Sorry I'm on my phone so I can't put a link to it. But my fighter cain laborina's next fight is the one I need help with. I beat the guy before but it was a while ago, and he has got some good training. On paper I probably shouldn't beat him. Any advice is welcomed.

well, my quick assumption is this: It looks like based on his last 4 fights he's going to try to land a lot of punches, so I would think he'll be slightly more aggressive, but throwing more accurate punches. If he thinks he can beat you on the ground, then he'll attempt takedowns. He faced a couple Brown belts and didn't attempt 1 takedown, but when he faced a blue belt he did, I would think he'd do the same with a purple belt. Also, I don't believe he's got that great of clinchwork, as he doesn't land many punches in the clinch, suggesting he's not good at controlling in it and landing strikes. If you have high clinch, you might fair well there, especially if you have good elbows or knees. He also has the hidden tends to cut, so....Maybe thinking he'll be aggressive, if you go counter striking with slightly higher damage and not attempt combos then you could cut him open and score round wins that way or TKO by cuts.... Go with your strengths.. expect him to be aggressive and accurate and potentially take you down. That's all I got.

What does your Takedown Defense rating look like? If it's high then it might work in your favour to try keep the fight off of the ground because of his superior BJJ skills.
Another way you could look at it is to be unpredictable. Looking at your previous fights they have mostly been by KO, so he'll probably expect you to try stike him alot, so countering would be a great idea.
But looking at his record don't be surprised if his striking defense is really high, seems he's learned from his second fight.
Best bet is to go with what's your stongest attributes and hope for the best in this one.
Let us know how the fight goes.

My tdd is 11, my clinchwork is good, but my knees and elbows are abysmal. I think im just gonna stand and bang with this guy, my striking defense is 13. My secondaries are good:
Agility Remarkable (11) Flexibility Remarkable (11) Speed Superb (10) Strength Sensational (14) Conditioning Wonderful (12) Striking Defense Exceptional (13) Balance Superb (10)
Idk thanks for the advice. you'll know if he looses if he's not the number one fighter in the alliance anymore. Ill keep everyone updated though thanks again.
